Claudia Blazer

Named after Claudia Severa, whose letter from the frontier fort of Vindolanda is one of the earliest Latin texts in a woman's hand: an invitation to a birthday celebration. The saffron jacquard recalls the warmth of an invitation handwritten at the edge of the empire.
